FIREFLY Car Rental at Lisbon Airport

When arriving at Lisbon International Airport there is a wide selection of rental car companies for travelers to choose from. Helpful information when renting a Firefly vehicle at Lisbon Airport

Drivers are required to carry their valid driver’s license at all times when driving a vehicle according to Portuguese laws. Drivers and passengers alike are also required to wear a seat belt while in a moving car. The use of cell phone/mobile phone is strictly forbidden while driving a car except for talking using hands free mode. Children under a certain age and height are subject to specific seating regulations.

Make sure to check your designated rental car for any damage that is pre-existing to your rental period. If any damage is discovered make sure it is documented on the rental agreement and signed off by a Firefly representative.

Documents needed when renting a vehicle are a valid driver’s license, a valid credit card, and a valid photo ID such as a passport if an international renter. Specific documents, like an international driving license or an official translation of your driver’s license if it is not written in English, Portuguese or with Roman letters, may be required at the time of collection of the rental car.

Returning your rented Firefly at Lisbon Airport

Please follow the instructions given by Firefly when returning your rental car at the end of your rental period and remember to remove your belongings from the vehicle.
